You may apply online by:

Deadline for applications for the January-February 2008 class is December 12, 2007. (Applications received after the deadline will be added to our waiting list in the event of a cancellation prior to the first day of class.)

The program sponsors will select thirty (30) firms to participate in the program. Selected firms will pay a one-time fee of $600. The Federal Highway Administration and other sponsoring agencies subsidize the majority of the fees for the program including tuition, lodging, and course materials. Participants are responsible for their travel to and from the conference center.

 

Minority and women owned firms are eligible to participate in the EMP. Firms certified as Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) will be given prioritization in admission. In addition to certification, participant firms should be able to demonstrate business stability and a commitment to growth. Several factors will be considered including:

  • Annual revenues in excess of $300,000;
  • An active involvement in the construction industry (or construction-related industries);
  • Minimum of two (2) years in operation; and
  • Successful track record.
